With advancements in solar power technology, SDC’s customer in the alternative energy industry needed to upgrade their testing machines. This upgrade would help the customer to accommodate and test the next series of solar panels.

The Solution:
This machine runs a prolonged test to abrade the coating of a solar panel with an adjustable pressure, motor-driven wire brush. Panels are held in place with a vacuum cup system on the backside. This machine was further customized per customer specifications to process two different series of solar panel models which is accomplished using multiple vacuum zones.
